PTA Volunteer Opportunities

The PTA is currently soliciting volunteers for the following projects. Please contact PTA President Kevin Kenney-Allen for more information on any position.

  • Mayfair Shadow Chairperson: After many years chairing our family-favorite Mayfair, the current Chair will be stepping down next school year. We are hoping to identify a new chairperson for the 2020-2021 school year in time for that person to shadow the current Chair in the months leading up to the event.
  • Back-to-School Picnic Chairperson: A Chair is needed to organize this annual September event that heralds the start of the new school year.
  • Auction Committee Members: Parents are needed to staff the 2020-2021 Auction Committee, which will be responsible for planning and executing the PTA‘s largest annual fundraising effort.
  • Teacher Appreciation Events: The BES PTA organizes a variety of events throughout the year to make BES a great workplace for our teachers. The Committee that organizes these events could use additional parent volunteers.
