Bannockburn Elementary PTA

The school is looking for volunteers for INDOOR recess.  This year the school administrators were able to work out a schedule so 4 out of the 6 grades have their own recess.  This means fewer kids outside at one time, more room to play, and no fighting over which grade gets to play soccer.  The flip side is that the recess block spans 3 hours (10:55-1:55).  On super hot days (like today) or rainy days, coverage for indoor recess takes a lot of adults.  If you are interested in volunteering to help monitor students during indoor recess, even if it’s just for one 35 minute shift, please email Mrs. Lange (Carol_L_Lange@mcpsmd.org) in the front office.  She will email you in the morning when indoor recess is expected to see your availability for that day.
