Artist-in-Residence for K/1st

During the week of November 13th, Maria Weaver, a visual artist from Arts for Learning Maryland, will be completing a residency with our kindergarten and 1st grade classes. Classes will complete 4 sessions with Ms. Weaver throughout the week to learn about bead making, specifically in regard to Ghanaian culture. Thank you to Ms. Thaler for organizing this wonderful opportunity for the students! Grades 2-5 will complete their artist-in-residency programs later in the year.
