Thanksgiving Food Drive

This year, the PTA is conducting a food drive to benefit Manna Food Center, a local food bank serving families in Montgomery County. Our goal is to collect 1,000 items, and we want to get the students directly involved. Here are some ways to do so:

  • Next Tuesday, November 14, is “Give Back” day. Each student is encouraged to bring two items to donate, which would almost get us to our goal. 
  • Take your children shopping to pick out the items. Here’s a list of Most Needed Items. 
  • Consider collecting food around your community. HERE is a flyer to get you started. 
  • Talk with your children about hunger and why we are doing the drive. Check out this page for tips!

A collection bin will be by the front doors of the school from November 10-17. Thank you in advance for your generosity and supporting those in need in our community!
