Back-to-School Picnic – Pizza Orders and Volunteer SignUp

The Back-to-School picnic will be held Friday, Sept. 13th from 5-7pm on the school playground.  Here are a few reminders:

Pre-Order your Pizza

Pre-order your Potomac pizza HERE.  Pizza orders are due by Monday Sept. 9th at 5 pm.

What to Bring (Repost)

something to sit on (picnic blanket, lawn chairs, etc.), food (if you didn’t pre-order pizza), non-alcoholic drinks, and cash or Venmo for the 5th grade table.

The BTS picnic will be our first community service event of the year.  Please bring a new or gently used book that your student has outgrown to donate to our book drive, which will start at the picnic, and run through September 20.  All donations will go to A Wider Circle, a charity whose mission is to advance equity in the greater Washington, DC region by fostering the exchange of goods, skills, and connections from neighbor to neighbor.  It’s a great, easy way to teach our students about giving back to the community!
