Drama Club is back!

We’re so excited to announce that the BES Drama Club show this year will be Beauty and the Beast Jr, a great ensemble production with opportunities for everyone to shine. Details below!

•Performance: The show will be March 21st and 22nd at Whitman.

•Scheduling: Rehearsals every Tuesday and Thursday 4-6pm at Bannockburn, starting January 7th (that first week will be auditions). The week of the show (March 17th) there will be mandatory rehearsals Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

• Participation: Drama club is open to 3rd-5th graders at Bannockburn, capped at 65 kids. We will operate rolling sign ups to ensure our graduating 5th graders have a chance to participate (more details on sign-ups to come). Everyone who signs up will be cast in the show – auditions will only determine who gets which parts

•Junior Designers: If we have enough interest, there will be a Junior Designers program open only to fifth graders who want to learn about technical production and don’t want to be on stage. Junior Designers will only meet one day a week; we need 7-10 kids to sign up to make this work.
