PTA Fundraising Updates
We are excited to share that our Fall Fundraiser successfully raised $5,880 for the school! A heartfelt thank you to all the parents and community members who participated.
As part of our commitment to transparency, the PTA will keep you updated on how these funds are being utilized. This year we have chosen to focus specifically on enhancing our outdoor facilities in addition to continuing to support the initiatives below. We aim to create outdoor spaces that encourage outdoor activity and learning for our children and look forward to sharing more detailed plans in the coming weeks.
Looking ahead, we are also in the planning stages for our Spring Fundraising Event, Bannockburn Fest, scheduled for Saturday, March 15th. Proceeds from this event will further support our outdoor improvement project as well as our other ongoing programs.
WHAT PROGRAMS DOES THE PTA ORGANIZE & FUND?
Enrichment Programs:
– Artist-in-residence programs, cultural arts events, character education assemblies, guest speakers, and subsidized/free digital learning programs which foster creative and critical thinking.
– Media Center resources to support our students’ love for reading and learning.
– Teacher supplies to provide essential materials that educators need to enrich their classrooms.
Community-building Initiatives:
– Back-to-School Picnic, Book Fair, Fun Run, International Fair, and Mayfair
– Staff appreciation events to show our gratitude for our dedicated educators.
Community Service Projects:
– Toy drives, book drives, canned food drives, MLK Day of Service, and more!
