Back-to-School Picnic: Friday Sep 12th!!!

The PTA’s annual Back-to-School Picnic will be held Friday, Sept. 12th from 5-7pm on the BES blacktop & playgrounds. Here are a few reminders:

  • What to Bring: Something to sit on (picnic blanket, lawn chairs, etc.), food (if you didn’t pre-order pizza), non-alcoholic drinks, and cash or Venmo for the 5th grade table.
  • Pre-order pizza HERE. You must preorder to receive a pizza as pizzas will not be sold onsite. Pizza orders are DUE by Tuesday Sept. 9th at 3pm.
  • ADULT & SSL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Please sign up HERE to volunteer for various adult and SSL volunteer spots. THANK YOU!
  • PTA BOOK DRIVE: Please remember to bring your gently used books to the Back to School Picnic as we kick off our annual Book Drive! Following the picnic, you can drop off books in front of the school through September 19th. Books will go to A Wider Circle to support families in the greater DC area. Please make sure books are in good condition!
