Back-to-School Picnic: THIS Friday Sep 12th!!!

The PTA’s annual Back-to-School Picnic will be held Friday, Sept. 12th from 5-7pm on the BES blacktop & playgrounds. Here are a few reminders:

  • What to Bring: Something to sit on (picnic blanket, lawn chairs, etc.), food (if you didn’t pre-order pizza), non-alcoholic drinks, and cash or Venmo for the 5th grade table.
  • Pizza orders are now closed. Please pick up your pizzas at the pizza table, which will be available 5 to 7pm during the picnic.
  • ADULT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We still have a couple ADULT volunteer spots (setup & welcome table) available for sign up HERE. THANK YOU!
  • PTA BOOK DRIVE: Don’t forget to bring your gently used books to the Back to School Picnic for our annual Book Drive! Following the picnic, you can drop off books in front of the school through September 19th. Books will go to A Wider Circle to support families in the greater DC area. Please make sure books are in good condition!
