Food Drive – 75% of our Goal!

CAN We Make it to 1,000?

We have almost reached 75% of our goal of collecting 1,000 food items for Manna Food Center, a food bank serving families in Montgomery County.  

We are SO appreciative for the efforts and generosity displayed by our BES families, and even members of our broader Bannockburn community, who have also showed up to help us reach our goal and help those in need. 

If you haven’t yet had the opportunity, there’s still time to send an item or two to school (see Most Needed Items on the flyer above) with your student and/or speak with them about food insecurity (read some helpful talking points for parents HERE) and how they can help combat it through donations and being mini force multipliers for good! 

We will remove the food drive collection bins this Friday (Nov 21) afternoon.
