In-School Assembly Dec. 17th with “History Alive!”
The PTA’s In-School Activities VPs have organized yet another fun and educational assembly for our students next Wednesday, this time from organization. In this assembly, award-winning actress and Smithsonian Scholar Mary Ann Jung will bring her show, Margaret Brent and the Indians!
Time warp back to the year 1638 when the colony of Maryland was just a fledgling! We will meet Margaret Brent, one of the founding settlers, and experience what life was like as she helps us navigate the hardships as colonists and Piscataway Indians. Along the way, we’ll learn how she was the first woman to own land in America, its first female lawyer, and the first woman in America to demand the right to vote!

This assembly is for students only and will be delivered during the school day.
