Bannockburn Elementary PTA

Have you ever been on the back playground during one of our wonderful PTA events (Mayfair, Back-to-School Picnic, etc.) and wished there was more shade?  

Great news! Tree Montgomery is scheduled to plant 18 new native shade trees at Bannockburn Elementary in early spring.  These native trees will enhance the natural beauty of the grounds while also contributing to Bannockburn’s Living Woodlands.

Tree Montgomery will handle watering during the first year, and our PTA community will step in to help if we experience a dry stretch (similar to how we supported the Reforest Montgomery trees planted along the soccer field woodland edge in spring 2025).

As these trees get established over the next couple of years, please help us take good care of them so they can thrive and provide shade for our community for many years to come.
