Volunteer, Donate Supplies for MLK Day of Service by Dec 23rd

The 3rd Annual BES PTA Day of Service is coming up Wednesday, January 21st! Students will supplement their learning about MLK Jr. through a hands-on community service activity, during school, to support our neighbors. Students will hear from a speaker with lived experience of homelessness and build cold weather kits for Miriam’s Kitchen.  Parents, we would love your help!  Please sign up to volunteer HERE or help us purchase supplies by sending a Venmo donation of $10

Holiday Toy Drive

Check out the flyer above for information on the PTA’s Holiday Toy Drive, running now through Dec 17th! The large “Stocking” for donations is located inside the front entrance to school. We’ve already filled it halfway and have two weeks. Renowned Musicians Play “Golden,” BES Students Go Wild

As you heard on Principal Serino’s Sunday update, the PTA hosted an amazing assembly last week where Grammy-Nominated beatboxer Christlyze Bacon and six-string electric cellist Wytold introduced our Bobcats to a fusion of classical music and hip hop. This culminated in a performance of “Golden” from K-Pop Demon Hunters (a BES favorite) and the spark of recognition and excitement among the young fans was incredible! Watch
