Are you a parent or guardian of an African American student looking for a network to address educational issues that impact your child’s education? The NAACP Parents’ Council is the answer! The mission of the Council is to provide a forum through which interested citizens may offer assistance, guidance, and support to minority parents and students in Montgomery County  Public Schools (MCPS)

In the National PTA’s Reflections Program, students submit artworks in the available arts category areas and program divisions through their school PTA: Primary (Pre-K – Grade 2), Intermediate (Grades 3-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), High School (Grades 9-12), Accessible Arts (All grades welcome).  BES PTA can participate only if a parent volunteer takes on as the Reflections Chair this year. 

REMINDER: If you want to get rid of any unwanted candy, PTA Community Service will be holding our annual candy drive AFTER Halloween. Details to come! 

The PTA is collecting halloween costumes, decorations, and candy for the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF). They use these items to hold Halloween celebrations and to ensure each child has a costume!  Location: The collection bin is in front of the school and the drive will run through the end of the day Monday 10/27.
