Bannockburn Elementary PTA

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) has arranged with Bar-T, BES’s before and after care provider, to offer child care on the evening of Thursday, September 5th for a nominal fee. (This is for elementary-aged children only.) Please bring your child(ren) to the all-purpose room between 6:15 PM and 7:50 PM.  Complete this brief registration form https://forms.gle/ujFEVmW96ZsRs6c29 and submit a $10/family

The Back-to-School picnic will be held Friday, Sept. 13th from 5-7pm on the school playground.  Here are a few reminders:

We are still looking for a volunteer(s) to lead this event! Join us to celebrate the diversity and heritage of our school community!   Families can sign up to host tables that highlight their culture by creating a trifold board with information about their country/culture.   Families are welcome to share crafts, food, games, artifacts, music, history, clothing, and more.

The first PTA meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, October 1st at 7pm in the school cafeteria.  Ms.Serino will speak about the upcoming year and parents will get to hear about upcoming PTA events.

We will once again be partnering with Baroody Camps to offer before and after school clubs!  Registration is from September 17th-22nd and programs run September 30th-December 6th. More information will be sent in the upcoming weeks regarding specific programs and registration processes.  

Staying In Touch I would like to encourage all parents to join the Bannockburn ES Listserv (through the Membership Toolkit app) if you have not done so already. It is an important communication tool within our school community. It is used to send newsletters, post announcements and information about school events, make donations, purchase items, etc. To join, please visit

This Friday, June 7th from 2:45-3:30 is the farewell dance party for Mrs. Bradley on the BES blacktop. Parents are invited to attend to say farewell and join in the fun. We hope to see you there!

The last PTA meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, June 4th at 7pm in the BES all-purpose room.  Principal Bradley will be there to discuss this past school year and changes coming for next year.  Bar-T will provide childcare in the media center.   During the meeting we will also vote on the PTA board for next year.

There are 2 days left to donate to the Diversity Book Drive!  Our media specialists have aggregated a list of books they’d like to include in the media center.
