Unfortunately, the science fair is cancelled this year because we were not able to find a parent volunteer to lead the event. We hope to be able to bring it back next year.

Thank you to everyone who went to Ledo Pizza and Sarah’s Handmade Ice Cream last week!  We raised over $700 for the PTA!!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated toys to the holiday toy drive for Sinai Hospital.  The patients and staff at the hospital were overwhelmed by the generosity of the BES community.  Below are a few pictures from some very happy kiddos!

Thank you to everyone who has already donated to the toy drive!  There are 2 more days to get your donations in!  We are collecting NEW, unwrapped toys, stuffed animals, games, clothing, accessories, jewelry, books and gift cards in denominations of $20, & $25. Age range of children is 3 months to 18 years.  The Drive ends this Friday, Dec. 15th. Please drop

American University Athletics and community partner Potomac Pizza would like to recognize the accomplishments of your child by honoring them with a FREE ticket to the AU men’s basketball game on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, at 4pm. The AU Eagles will tip-off and battle Patriot League rival, the Army West Point Black Knights in Bender Arena. Please see the flyer

The 5th grade class will be selling Bannockburn t-shirts as part of their class fundraiser on Friday, Dec. 15th from 3:30-4:30pm outside of school.  The t-shirts come in a variety of youth and adult sizes and are first-come, first-serve. Perfect for school spirit and holiday gifts. They cost $20/shirt ($10 for BES staff members).  Please bring exact change if possible.

This year, the Bannockburn PTA is collecting new toys for children who are being treated at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, MD.
