Bannockburn and the PTA are planning a service project during school on January 9th &10th, just before Martin Luther King Day. All students will participate in making sandwiches and bags of trail mix to benefit Martha’s Table, an organization that serves over 2 million healthy meals per year to DC residents experiencing hunger or housing insecurity. Unfortunately, the science fair is cancelled this year because we were not able to find a parent volunteer to lead the event. We hope to be able to bring it back next year.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated toys to the holiday toy drive for Sinai Hospital.  The patients and staff at the hospital were overwhelmed by the generosity of the BES community.  Below are a few pictures from some very happy kiddos!
