Thank you to everyone who has already donated to the toy drive!  There are 2 more days to get your donations in!  We are collecting NEW, unwrapped toys, stuffed animals, games, clothing, accessories, jewelry, books and gift cards in denominations of $20, & $25. American University Athletics and community partner Potomac Pizza would like to recognize the accomplishments of your child by honoring them with a FREE ticket to the AU men’s basketball game on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, at 4pm. The 5th grade class will be selling Bannockburn t-shirts as part of their class fundraiser on Friday, Dec. 15th from 3:30-4:30pm outside of school.  The t-shirts come in a variety of youth and adult sizes and are first-come, first-serve. Perfect for school spirit and holiday gifts. They cost $20/shirt ($10 for BES staff members).  Please bring exact change if possible.

This year, the Bannockburn PTA is collecting new toys for children who are being treated at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, MD. Dec. 10th from 1-3pm, come help your fellow community members to remove non-native invasive (NNI) plants, stabilize our natural woodland area at BES, and enhance this community asset!  Spend 2 hours outdoors learning about what we are doing and help us get there!  More hands makes the work lighter and the time spent is more enjoyable when we do it
