This week, MCPS announced four updated options for the boundary study related to reopening Woodward High School.

What is the Woodward Boundary Study?
MCPS is reopening Charles W. Woodward High School, reopening Crown High School, and expanding Damascus High School for the 2027–2028 school year. The boundary study process will determine which students will attend these schools and aims to help alleviate overcrowding at some MCPS schools.

You can explore the interactive maps by typing your address in the top left corner to see your home’s articulation to middle and high schools. A review of the articulation charts for all four options suggests no changes for BES or within the Whitman cluster. All five elementary schools in our cluster continue to feed into Pyle MS and Whitman HS.
