Save the Date: Drama Club (Grades 3-5) – Nov Signups / Feb Shows

Parents of 3rd-5th graders, mark your calendars for BES Drama Club which is coming up sooner than usual this year! We aren’t ready to announce the show yet, but wanted to give you a heads up about the timing for signups and rehearsals so you can plan ahead.

  • Performance: This year, the show will be held February 13th and 14th, 2026, at the Walt Whitman High School Auditorium.
  • Scheduling: Rehearsals will be every Tuesday and Thursday 4-6pm at Bannockburn, starting December 2nd (that first week will be auditions and call backs). The week of the show (February 9th) there will be mandatory rehearsals Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. 
  • Participation: Drama club is open to 3rd-5th graders at Bannockburn, capped at 65 kids. We will operate rolling sign ups to ensure our graduating 5th graders have a chance to participate (more details on sign-ups to come).
  • Junior Designers: If we have enough interest, there will be a Junior Designers program open only to fifth graders who want to learn about technical production and don’t want to be on stage. Junior Designers will only meet one day a week; we need 7-10 kids to sign up to make this work.
  • Cost: The fee for Drama Club will be $399. Junior Designers is $299. The PTA is an inclusive organization, so scholarships have been set aside to support students’ and families’ participation in this club. If you would like to request confidential financial assistance, please contact Ms. Fleming directly BEFORE enrollment opens.
